GLIAC -- Ferris State's Carley Dubbert and Grand Valley State's Madz Ham represented the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) on the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District® 4 Women's Soccer Team. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Ferris State senior forward Carley Dubbert owns a 3.98 grade-point average in pharmacy, while Grand Valley State senior defender boasts a 3.94 GPA in public and nonprofit administration. Both individuals earned All-GLIAC Second Team accolades last week and will be competing in the upcoming NCAA Tournament with their respective programs.
The fourth district of Division II encompasses the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). First-team Academic All-District® honorees, announced Thursday by CoSIDA, advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
