GLIAC -- The field for the 2018 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship has been unveiled and a pair of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) teams have earned spots in the upcoming Midwest Regional hosted by No. 1 seed Ferris State University.
Ferris State will tip-off against No. 8 Ohio Dominican out of the G-MAC after the former GLIAC members earned the league's automatic bid by winning the title as a No. 5 conference seed. Ferris State captured its fourth consecutive GLIAC Men's Basketball Tournament championship on Sunday with a 69-61 victory over Lake Superior State.
LSSU drew the No. 4 seed in the region and will match up with No. 5 Hillsdale as regional play gets underway next Saturday, March 10 in Big Rapids.
