2019 Maryville Preview

Maryville University women’s lacrosse embarks on its inaugural season of competition in 2019. The Saints will be guided by head coach Brittany Frankenfeld. The former standout goalie at Lindenwood University spent two seasons as the head coach at Ottawa University and posted a 17-8 record with the Braves.

Frankenfeld has brought in an initial group of 20 student-athletes that features 18 freshmen. Two players with previous collegiate playing experience are sophomore goalie Tabatha Saake and senior Diana Moreno, who both came to Maryville from Ottawa. The Saints play the program’s first game at home against nationally-ranked Lindenwood, and they will compete as members of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 2019.
