Northwood Volleyball Preview | Roster | Schedule

A new era of Northwood Volleyball begins in 2014, as James Goodridge became just the fourth head coach in the 32-year history of the program. He takes over a program that will have a much different look this season. Northwood lost five seniors from last year’s team, all of which played key roles at five different positions.

Leading the way for the Timberwolves for the 2014 season will be junior outside hitter Krysta Kramer. She ranked second on the team behind All-American Juliia Pakhomenko in most categories, including kills, points and digs per set. Junior middle blocker Cassandra Marsh is also expected to have a bigger role this season coming off a strong sophomore campaign where she hit .247 while averaging .75 blocks per set.

The trio of Erin Hoomaian, Birta Bjornsdottir and Jaclyn Kimmet have all seen significant time in the back row in their career. Marissa Pomaville, Lisa Kisil and Meghan Cleary also return to the fold for Northwood this season. Seven newcomers will join the Timberwolves as well, who will open their season September 4 at Lock Haven.
