#13 Ashland University complied a 1-1 week against two GLIAC North opponents, Ferris State and #10 Grand Valley State. The Eagles defeated the Bulldogs, 3-1, on Friday night behind team-highs of 17 kills and 24 digs from senior outside hitter Mary Kate Glowe (Avon Lake, OH/Magnificat). Sophomore middle hitter Amanda Stefanski (Independence, OH) notched a double-double, with 12 kills, 17 digs, and 6 block assists... The highly-touted matchup between Ashland and Grand Valley State lived up to its hype, with GVSU winning a five-game thriller.
