Stavy Kraatz - Saginaw Valley State

Junior Stacy Kraatz helped the Cardinals post a 5-3 mark last week. Against Findlay on Saturday, she had a two-run homerun that put the Cardinals in the lead. In the nightcap, she had five runs-batted-in to go along with her sixth homerun of the year. Kraatz also posted a 3-1 mark in the circle last week as she stuck out 24 opposing batters in 27.2 innings of work. She currently ranks second in the GLIAC with a .388 batting average and six homeruns, third in total bases (70), fourth in hits (45), and sixth in RBI with 24.
Jade Fulton - Saginaw Valley State

Freshman pitcher Jade Fulton had a dominationg week, pitching two complete-game shutouts and picking up a save. Against Findlay, she allowed only one hit while striking out seven Oiler batters. In game one against Findlay, she picked up the save, which moved her to within one of the SVSU career saves record. On Sunday, she threw a complete game, eight-inning shutout. In the win she only allowed two hits while striking out five. Fulton currently ranks third in the league in strikeouts (90) and fifth in earned-run-average (1.74).
