Junior Kara Hensley led the Lady Knights to a 3-1 GLIAC mark last week as they took two games from Lake Superior State and split with Mercyhurst. In the sweep of Laker Superior, she went 5-6 at the plate with six runs-batted-in, five runs scored, and two homeruns. Hensley is error free in her last 84 fielding chances which dates back to March 3. For the season, she leads the team with eight multiple-RBI games, is tied for the team lead with 14 multiple-hit games, and ranks first on the squad with a .544 slugging percentage.

Junior pitcher Lauren Soldner posted a 2-0 record with a 2.15 earned run average in the circle last week for Gannon. In each of her starts she tossed a complete game raising her season total to 10. She recorded her third shutout of the year in a 5-0 victory over Mercyhurst as she struck out four Laker batters. Soldner currently ranks second in the league with 85 strikeouts (26 looking) 11 wins, and 101.1 innings pitched. She also ranks third in appearances (19), and is third in GLIAC with a 1.52 ERA.
