Junior goalkeeper Kristina Nasturzio was strong over the week, which saw the #1 Lakers go into overtime for the first time this season. She stopped four shots against Tiffin in 98:00 minutes of action and allowed just one goal. She then followed that up with a 90:00 minute, three-save shutout of Northern Michigan on Sunday. The two wins over the week brought her record to 16-0 this season. As of Oct. 14, Nasturzio ranked first in the nation in goals-against average (0.237) and fifth in save percentage (.906).
