GLIAC Women's Soccer Athlete Of The Week
Sarah Powell - Mercyhurst
(Junior, Forward, McKean, Pa./General McLane)
     Junior Sarah Powell was an offensive catalyst for the Lakers this weekend as Mercyhurst defeated GLIAC opponents Findlay, 5-0, and Ashland, 3-2. Powell totaled three goals and two assists this weekend, assisting on both game winning goals. Against Ashland Powell scored two goals and had one assist on five shots. In the match against Findlay, she had one goal and one assist. Powell currently leads the Lakers with 12 goals and six assists, totaling 30 points this season.
