GLIAC Women's Golf Athlete Of The Week
Becky Hoffman - Ferris State University

 Ferris State’s senior Becky Hoffman led the Bulldogs to a runner-up team finish at the 2008 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championships. Hoffman was the tournament’s top individual medalist as she bested Grand Valley State’s Ashley Smith by carding a birdie in the first playoff hole. Hoffman carded a 226 (74-75-77=226, +10) in the three rounds of competition prior to the playoff on the par 72, 5,851-yard Sycamore Springs Golf Course.The victory represented her third top-five tournament finish and eighth top 10 placing in events this campaign.
