GLIAC Women's Golf Athlete Of The Week
Ashley Smith - Grand Valley State University
(So, Plymouth, Mich./Salem)
  Grand Valley State University sophomore Ashley Smith shot a invitational-best 71 on day two to finish in second place overall and help the Lakers to a third-place finish at the Ball State Cardinal Classic held at the Delaware Country Club in Muncie, Ind. Smith shot a 78 on day one, followed by a 71 on day two, to finish with a score of 149 overall, just one stroke back of first place.
