Northwood junior forward Megan Starnes led the Timberwolves to a pair of road victories last week by averaging 18.5 points and nine rebounds per game. Against Ferris State, Starnes accounted for 18 points and nine rebounds and four steasl as Northwood recorded their first win over the Bulldogs in their last 25 tries. She also had game-highs in both points (19) and rebounds (nine)to go with three steals in the Timberwolves win over SVSU. Starnes currently ranks sixth in the GLIAC in scoring (15.7 ppg) and fifth in rebounding (7.4 rpg).

Junior forward Katie Cezat averaged 20 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists last week as the Chargers stayed atop of the GLIAC South Division. Cezat’s week was highlighted by a 27-point, 14-rebound performance in a 65-46 road vicotry at Northern Michigan. In the game against the Wildcats she shot 12-17 from the floor and dished out a career-high five assists. She currently leads the GLIAC in rebounding with 11.9 rebounds per game, is second in scoring with 20.9 points per game, and ranks third in shooting by connecting on 57% of her shots.
