Michigan Tech sophomore forward Katie Wysocky averaged 16.0 points and 16.0 rebounds in two one-point games last weekend. On Thursday, she notched a 17 point and 14 rebound outing in a hard fought battle against Ashland. She turned around Saturday to tally 15 points and 18 rebounds in a 75-74 overtime win vs. Ferris State. Her 18-rebound performance was just two off the school record of 20. Wysocky currently ranks second in the GLIAC in rebounds and sixth in scoring with 10.5 rebounds and 16.3 points per game, respectively.

Junior forward Katie Cezat led the Chargers to a 2-0 mark last week as well as claiming her second-staight GLIAC South Division “Player of the Week” award. Against Mercyhurst, Cezat scored 18 points and pulled down eight rebounds to pace Hillsdale. She then followed that up with a record setting 25 rebound performance aginast Gannon., which included 20 defensive rebounds. Cezat also poured in 24 points on 9 of 16 shooting. She currently leads the GLIAC in both scoring (20.9 ppg) and rebounding (12.4 rpg).
