GLVC Claims the 2010 Mizuno Crossover Tournament Over GLIAC, 23-22

AURORA, Ill. -  The Great Lakes Valley Conference captured the Mizuno GLVC/GLIAC Crossover Volleyball Tournament title for the first time on Saturday, taking the league challenge 23-22. The GLVC corrals the honor for the first time since the event was established in 2008.

No. 20 Indianapolis led the way for the GLVC by posting a 3-0 record at the event, including a Saturday sweep over No. 13 Northern Michigan.

Bellarmine also posted a 3-0 record on the weekend for the GLVC, picking up wins over Michigan  Tech, Lake Superior State and Cedarville.

The GLVC effort was also boosted by strong performances from No. 19 Missouri-St. Louis, Quincy, UW-Parkside who each went 2-1 on the weekend.

Hillsdale College, Grand Valley State University and Saginaw Valley State University each posted 3-0 records at the event for the GLIAC.
