Hillsdale Remains at No. 23 in AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll

Lexington, Ky.  – Concordia University, St. Paul maintained its position at the top of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II Top 25 poll.  The Golden Bears are now 23-0, earning all 32 first-place votes in the balloting.

Hillsdale College Despite going 1-2 over the weekend, the Hillsdale College volleyball team remains in the top 25 national poll, retaining its No. 23 position from last week.Hillsdale is 17-5 on the season, and will wrap up its regular season home schedule this weekend, with matches vs. Tiffin (7 p.m. Friday) and Ashland (12 p.m. Saturday). This is the third week this season the Chargers have been ranked in the top 25 poll, and the first time the team has been ranked in back-to-back weeks this season. Hillsdale defeated St. Joseph's 3-0 Friday before losing to now-11th-ranked Indianapolis, 3-2 and 3-1 to Northern Kentucky on Saturday. The Chargers are the only GLIAC team to be ranked in this week's poll, and they possess the GLIAC's best conference record at 9-2.
