GVSU Downs SVSU to Claim the 2008 GLIAC Volleyball Championship Match

Allendale, Mich.-- Grand Valley State University defeated Saginaw Valley State University, 3-1, (25-20, 25-18, 15-25, 25-14) to claim the 2008 GLIAC Volleyball Championship on Sunday. The Lakers took the first two sets before the Cardinals posted a win in set three.

The 2008 GLIAC Championship marks the fifth in school history for GVSU and second in a row.
