Findlay's Clay and Hillsdale's Caldwell Chosen As GLIAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. -  University of Findlay senior Raven Clay (Detroit, Mich./Frank Cody) and Hillsdale College junior Kayla Caldwell (Tuscarawas, Ohio/Indian Valley) have been chosen as the GLIAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week."

Detroit, Mich./Frank Cody

Raven Clay placed second in the 100-meter hurdles at the Sea Ray Relays in Knoxville, Tenn. with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 13.36.  Clay also finished 16th in the 200-meter dash at the event after crossing the finish line in 24.90.





 

 

 

GLIAC Women's Outdoor Field "Athlete of the Week":

 

 

Kayla Caldwell - Hillsdale College
Junior -
Tuscarawas, Ohio/Indian Valley

Kayla Caldwell broke the school record in the outdoor pole vault at last week’s Hillsdale Invitational, clearing 13 feet, 3 ½ inches. That mark placed her at No. 1 in all of Division II in the pole vault. Caldwell finished second in the nation in the indoor track pole vault, and also possesses that school record. She also finished third in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.15 seconds Saturday.
