Findlay's Clay and Rowland Chosen As GLIAC Women's Indoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. - University of Findlay senior Raven Clay (Detroit, Mich./Frank Cody) and junior Jessica Rowland (Germantown, Ohio/Valley View) have been chosen as the GLIAC Women's Indoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week."

Raven Clay had a hand in two first place finishes for the Oilers track team over the weekend at the Findlay Classic.  She finished first in the 60-meter hurdles with a NCAA automatic qualifying time of 8.39 and teamed with Christine Zimmermann, Catherine Wiemers and Alexa Stults to win the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:01.97.

Jessica Rowland - University of Findlay
Junior - Germantown, Ohio/Valley View

Jessica Rowland set two new school records over the weekend at the Findlay Classic in the shot put and weight throw.  Rowland won the weight throw with a NCAA automatic qualifying toss of 62’04.50 and finished second in the shot put with a NCAA automatic qualifying heave of 49’03.00.
