Tournament
Format
The GLIAC Women’s Tennis Championship will be an eight-team,
three-round tournament.
The first round of the tournament will start at 6:45 p.m. on
Friday (Oct. 21), with warm-up on courts beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The second round of the tournament will be played at 3:45 p.m. on
Saturday (Oct. 22) afternoon.
The final round of the tournament will start at 9:30 a.m. on
Sunday (Oct. 23), with warm-up on courts beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Draw
The top eight teams based on regular season conference winning percentage will compete in the tournament. 1 vs. 8 and 4 vs. 5 in top of draw. 3 vs. 6 and 2 vs. 7 on bottom of draw.

tournament.
The trainer will be at the facility at the following times:
Friday – 4:300 pm – Chris Camburn

Sunday – 8:00 am – Ethan Nayback
Modalities will not be available. Ice will be available. Coaches should bring enough athletic tape as necessary to tape their own student-athletes throughout the tournament.
Awards
Ceremony
There will be a short awards ceremony at the MCTC following the
completion of the last match on Sunday.
GLIAC Championship and GLIAC Tournament trophies will be awarded,
and the 2011 All-GLIAC Women’s Tennis Teams will be
announced.

The GLIAC Office will be providing four cases of Wilson U.S. Open
tennis balls.
