Five GLIAC Women's Swimming & Diving Teams Earn Team Scholar All-America Status

BAY CITY, Mich. - Five Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) women's swimming & diving teams were awarded with 2010 Division II Men's Scholar All-American team status by the College Swimming Coaches Association (CSCAA).

The University of Findlay recorded the fifth best mark in Division II with a team cumulative GPA of 3.50. The University of Indianapolis ranked tied for fifth with a team cumulative GPA of 3.44. G

Lewis University posted the 12th-best score with a team cumulative GPA of 3.37. Hillsadle College's  team cumulative GPA of 3.25 was 17th-best, Grand Valley State University tied for 18th with a team cumulative GPA of 3.21.

The Team Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented to teams achieving this standard in the fall semester and in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (Winter/Spring).
