GLIAC Announces Time Changes for 2010-11 Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Games

BAY CITY, Mich. — Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Commissioner Dell Robinson announced a scheduling change for 2010-11 basketball season, as men’s games will lead all Conference doubleheaders with women’s games to follow. Traditionally, the order has been reversed.

ATLANTA - The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its winners for the 2009-10 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll. This award, given in NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA and Junior College/Community College, awards teams throughout the nation that carry the highest grade point averages (GPA) for the entire season based on the nomination submitted by WBCA-member head coaches.

BAY CITY, Mich. — Dell Robinson, Commissioner of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), announced the hiring of Rob Doss for the position of Supervisor of Women’s Basketball Officials, and Bill Ek for the position of Supervisor of Men’s Basketball Officials. Both Doss and Ek will begin their duties with the GLIAC immediately.
