BAY CITY, Mich. - Grand Valley State University senior forward Briauna Taylor (Livonia, Mich.) and Hillsdale College sophomore forward Megan Fogt (Anna, Ohio) have been chosen as the GLIAC Women's Basketball North and South Division "Players of the Week", respectively.

GVSU senior Briauna Taylor recorded back-to-back double-doubles for the Lakers this week. On Thursday, Taylor had 13 points and 12 rebounds as well as a team-high six assists in the loss at Saginaw Valley State. The forward was then a key part to the Lakers' 61-58 victory over Wayne State as her pair of free throws with a minute left gave GVSU a lead that it would not give up. Taylor had 23 points and a career-high 14 boards against the Warriors.

GLIAC South Division Player of the Week:
Sophomore center Megan Fogt posted back-to-back double-doubles in helping the Charger's to a pair of wins over the weekend, over Malone and Walsh. She averaged 17.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 3 blocked shots per game, giving her a total of 13 double-doubles on the season. That total is the most by any Hillsdale College player in a season since Katie Cezat's 28 in 2008-09. Fogt ranks third in the GLIAC in rebounding, fourth in blocked shots and second in field goal percentage.
