GLIAC Launches Women's Basketball Media Day Site With Videos and Preview

BAY CITY, Mich. - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has unveiled its 2010 Women's Basketball preseason poll and season preview in conjunction with the launch of a special website today (Thursday,Oct. 28).

The 2010 GLIAC Women's Basketball Media Day Website went live this afternoon and includes information on the upcoming campaign with video comments from respective head coaches, video highlights of top returning players and links to team information in addition to the preseason poll and preseason All-GLIAC teams.

The special website takes the place of the annual GLIAC Basketball Media Day teleconference, which was not held this year. However, each school filmed a short video segment with coaches discussing their respective teams and the upcoming season.

The website, which was created by Presto Sports, will be available live online thru the official conference website at www.gliac.org/mediaDay/wbkb/index.

The 2010 GLIAC Women's Basketall season officially kicks off with five non-conference men's games and four non-league women's contests on Friday, Nov. 12. 

The league schedule officially begins with all 14 conference schools in action on Thursday, Dec. 2.  The final day of GLIAC regular-season play will take place on Saturday, Feb. 26.
