Michigan Tech's Cameron Named Russell Athletic/WBCA Regional Division II Coach of the Year

Atlanta -- Michigan Technological University Head Women's Basketball Coach Kimberly Cameron was named the Russell Athletic/Women's Basketball Coaches Association Regional 4 Division II Coach of the Year. Cameron led the Huskies to a 31-2 record and a berth in the NCAA Division-II Championship game on Friday, March 25 at 8:00 p.m. against Clayton State University. The 31 wins this season for Michigan Tech is the most in program history, along with this being the programs first ever national championship appearance.

Joining Cameron, the Region 4 Coach of the Year, in receiving RUSSELL ATHLETIC/WBCA Regional Division II Coach of the Year honors for 2011 are:
