Six GLIAC Teams Remain in the Top 10 of the Midwest Region Poll
INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA Division II Softball Committee has released the NCAA Division II Regional softball polls. The top eight ranked schools in each region will advance to the regional round of play in the NCAA Division II softball tournament. This week’s Midwest Region features the same six Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) teams in the top 10 as last week, but the poll showed plenty of movement with no GLIAC school ranked where they were last week. The GLIAC schools ranked in the region poll are: Tiffin University No. 2, Saginaw Valley State University No. 3, Grand Valley State University No. 4, Northwood University No. 6, Ashland University No. 8, and Wayne State University No. 10.
