Six GLIAC Teams Ranked in Latest D-II Midwest Region Softball Poll
INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA Division II Softball Committee has released this week’s Division II softball regional polls. Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) teams again hold six of the the top ten positions in this week's Midwest Region poll.
Wayne State University remained the top of this week's regional poll having posted an 45-10 Division II record so far this season. Ashland University stayed at No. 2 in the poll with an 33-11 D-II record this campaign. Saginaw Valley State University sits fifth in the region with a 24-14 mark. Tiffin University remained No. 7, while Northwood University stayed at the No. 9 position with 31-16, and 23-17 D-II records, respectively. Ferris State University stayed at No. 10 in this week's poll with an 26-16 D-II mark on the season.
