Ferris State Moves To No. 7 In The Latest NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll

Bay City, Mich. -- Despite going 4-0 last week, the Ferris State University softball team dropped one position to #7 in the latest NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll. The Bulldogs own a 16-2 record, and received 274 points to land in the seventh spot. Ashland University (18-6) and Wayne State University (15-7) also received votes in this week's poll.

The Rambelles of Angelo State continue their reign atop the NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll, earning 12 first-place votes and totaling 372 points. The polls top five teams are unchanged from last week with Alabama-Huntsville, North Georgia, Southeastern Oklahoma and Humboldt State following Angelo State.

The NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches, two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. Records shown are through games of March 29, 2009. First-place votes are in parentheses.
