BAY CITY, Mich. - Ashland University sophomore Brian Baum (Alliance, Ohio/Marlington) and Ohio Dominican University sophomore Tara Walker (Lewis Center, Ohio) have been chosen as the Men's & Women's Cross Country "Runners of the Week", respectively.
GLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week:

Ashland University sophomore Brian Baum finished first overall
at the Wilmington Invitational last Saturday (Oct. 13). Baum
completed the 5K course in 24:56.26. AU finished first in a
field of 34 teams.

GLIAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week:
Ohio Dominican University
(Sophomore, Lewis Center, Ohio)
For the second time this season, Ohio Dominican University
sophomore Tara Walker (Lewis Center, Ohio) broke her own school
record with a time of 18:17.50 Friday at the Wilmington
Invitational. Walker finished fifth out of 340 runners, with an
average mile time of 5:53.3. It was her third top-five finish in a
meet this season, and this is the second time she has been awarded
the GLIAC Runner of the Week, the only Panther cross country
athlete to earn the award.
