TU's Thomas and HC's Falk Named GLIAC Men's Indoor Track and Field "Athletes of the Week", Respectively

Bay City, Mich. -- Bay City, Mich. -- Tiffin's Anthony Thomas (Cleveland, Ohio) and Hillsdale's Aaron Falk (Placerville, Calif.) have been named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Men's Indoor Track and Field "Athletes of the Week", respectively as announced by the league office.

Track Athlete of the Week
Anthony Thomas ~ Tiffin University 
Junior ~ Cleveland, Ohio
Sophomore Anthony Thomas led the way breaking two school records and automatically qualifying for nationals in the sprints. Last weekend at the Findlay Indoor Classic, Thomas finished second in a field of 80 in the 200, running 21.85 and earning his automatic qualifier spot. In the 60, Thomas ran 6.88, finishing fourth and breaking another school record.

Aaron Falk ~ Hillsdale College
Junior ~ Placerville, California
Junior Aaron Falk took first place and earned an NCAA Automatic Qualifying mark in the weight throw at the Collegiate Open Classic. His throw of 19.23 meters (63-01) is only the 6th automatic qualifying mark in the country this season and currently ranks him 5th in the nation. The throw also broke the previous school record by nearly eight inches set last season by teammate Jason Stomps. Falk finished third at the NCAA Outdoor Nationals last year and was named All-American in the hammer throw.
