Northern Michigan Names Heidi Voigt Head Swimming & Diving Coach8/17/10 MARQUETTE, Mich. – Heidi Voigt, has been named the head swimming and diving coach at Northern Michigan University, according to NMU Athletic Director Ken Godfrey. She spent the past two seasons (2008-10) as an assistant coach at New Mexico State working with the distance freestyle group, arranging team travel and handling administration duties. |

GLIAC Announces Winter 2010 All-Academic Teams3/31/10 Bay City, Mich.--The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced today the Winter2010 All-Academic Teams. 495 student-athletes from 14 institutions were honored in the following sports; men and women's basketball, men and women's swimming and diving and men and women's indoor track and field. To be eligible for all-academic status, the student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0, on a 4.0 scale, and must not be a freshman or first year transfer. |
