Three Teams From the GLIAC In The NABC Division II Top 25 Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the second week in succession, the top three spots stayed the same in the NABC/Division II men's basketball rankings, with nine of the top 10 teams from last week remaining ranked among the top 10 in the nation as well.
West Liberty, Bellarmine and Augusta State all came away unscathed in the final full week of January to retain their spots atop the rankings, but No.
4 Cal State-Dominguez Hills lost Saturday at Cal State-Stanislaus and No. 7 Fort Hays State was upended by Northwest Missouri State to create a shuffle for the remainder of the top 10.
Findlay and Alabama-Huntsville each moved up one spot to fourth and fifth, respectively, while Lincoln Memorial moved from eighth to sixth as it kept its undefeated record intact for another week. Southern Indiana also moved up two spots to seventh, while Cal State-Dominguez Hills fell into the No. 8 position after its loss. Central Oklahoma moved up a spot to ninth and Minnesota State entered the top 10 in place of Fort Hays State.
Central Washington climbed to No. 11, followed by Missouri Southern, Fort Hays State, Humboldt State and Arkansas Tech, who made an eight-spot leap after a week that included a 30-point win over then-No. 19 Harding.
Incarnate Word checked in at No. 16, followed by Grand Valley State, Georgia Southwestern, West Texas A&M and Harding.
The final five spots in this week's poll belong to Tampa, Indianapolis - the Greyhounds are in the national top 25 for the first time in seven years - Hillsdale, Northern Kentucky and Mercyhurst, who is making its seasonal debut in the top 25 this week as well.
The NCAA will release its updated regional rankings on Wednesday, Feb. 2.
