Grand Valley Moves into a Tie for No. 3 in the NCBWA Division II Baseball Poll

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The Grand Valley State University baseball team has posted a 31-3 record this year with a 20-1 mark in GLIAC play, and the polls are taking notice. GVSU has moved up to a tie for third and recieved one first place vote in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) poll.

The Lakers are also tabbed as the midwest region leader in the NCBWA poll, garnering all seven first-place votes in this week's results. They are followed by defending national champion Southern Indiana (23-9) and Ashland (21-12.) The GLIAC also has Wayne State (22-10, #4) ranked in the midwest regional poll.
