Grand Valley Ranked Second in the NCBWA Division II Baseball Poll

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Grand Valley State University's strong baseball season continues as the Lakers now own a 39-3 record this year with a 28-1 mark in GLIAC play. The polls are taking notice of GVSU ranking them second with four first place votes in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division-II poll.

The Lakers are also tabbed as the midwest region leader in the NCBWA poll, garnering all seven first-place votes in this week's results. They are followed by defending national champion Southern Indiana, and Wayne State University. GLIAC member Ashland University is tied for fourth in the midwest regional poll.
