Ferris State University junior Lewis DeGeneault presently holds a 5-6 overall singles record along with a 4-7 doubles mark to date this campaign. The 5-8 DeGeneault, who has currently won two of his last three doubles encounters, is 1-1 to date in GLIAC singles play at the number one flight and has won both of his conference doubles matches at the second spot in the lineup. He won both his singles and doubles contests in last Friday’s (March 21) 6-3 Bulldog league road triumph over rival Grand Valley State. In singles action, he beat GVSU’s Tony Dang 7-6 (7-3), 7-5 and he also teamed up with Ahmet Demir to post a 8-1 victory over Patrick Troy and Renato Tamashiro at the number two doubles spot. He currently holds a 32-22 overall singles ledger and is 16-16 in doubles play during his three-year FSU career to date.
