GLIAC Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete Of The Week

(FR, Freestyle/Butterfly, Istanbul, Turkey)
  Indianapolis freshman Alican Alacli etched a new UIndy record in the men’s 1,000-yard freestyle with his 9:34.66 effort at Ashland on Saturday, Oct. 20. His performance, which was an NCAA “B” standard, helped the Greyhounds to a 136-95 win over the host Eagles. His time bested a UIndy mark which stood for 20 years (9:47.89- John Ham).
