John Furlong - Ashland University

Freshman John Furlong claimed medalist honors and led Ashland University to a first-place finish at the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Fall Region Tournament held at Hawkshead Golf Course in South Haven, Mich. Furlong carded rounds of 73 and 65 to post a six-under-par score of 138. His score was two strokes clear of second place. Furlong’s efforts helped the Eagles recorded rounds of 295 and 279 for a two-under-par total of 574, one stroke ahead of GVSU.
