Joique Bell was part of all five touchdowns in WSU’s 34-28 road victory at Indianapolis. He rushed for four scores in the game while throwing a 68-yard touchdown pass. Bell’s fourth rushing touchdown was a 90-yard jaunt just over five minutes into the fourth quarter which broke a 28-28 deadlock. For the game, Bell rushed for 151 yards on 19 carries and with his passing touchdown, he had 219 of WSU’s 337 yards of total offense.

Junior linebacker Tom Korte came back after missing last week’s game due to an injury to make a big impact on Hillsdale’s 42-33 win over Mercyhurst Saturday. Korte had a team-high eight tackles and made two crucial interceptions to help key the Chargers’ win. Korte returned to help hold the Lakers to 301 total yards in Hillsdale’s win. Hiss fourth-quarter interception with less than a minute to play helped clinch the victory for Hillsdale. |

Redshirt freshman place kicker Anthony Leandri helped Northern Michigan reclaim the Miner’s Cup by tallying 10 points in the Wildcats’ 34-27 win over Michigan Tech. He connected on both of his field goal attempts, a 32-yarder and a career-long 49-yarder, while making all four of his PAT kicks. Leandri is now 7-10 on field goal attempts this season. |
