Week 6 - GLIAC Football Players Of The Week

Offensive Player Of The Week
Brad Iciek - Grand Valley State
(SO, QB, 6-1, 185, Grandville, Mich.)

  Sophomore quarterback Brad Iciek completed 25-of-40 passes for 403 yards and four TDs as #1 ranked Grand Valley State claimed a 41-10 victory over Wayne State. Iciek, who also rushed for 39 yards and a TD on six carries, accounted for 442 yards and five TDs on the day. Iciek’s 403 passing yards was the third-best, single-game total in Laker history. GVSU upped its winning streak to 32 games, the longest active streak in college football.

(JR, DT, 6-3, 255, Flint, Mich./Carman-Ainsworth)
  Junior defensive tackle Dan Skuta tallied a career-high 17 tackles (5 solo/12 assists), two tackles for loss (-11) and forced two fumbles as #1 ranked Grand Valley State claimed a 41-10 victory over Wayne State. Skuta led a Laker defense that limited Wayne State to 286 yards of total offense, and just 121 yards through the air.. Skuta in the top 10 among GLIAC defenders in both tackles-for-loss (5.0) and fumbles forced (2).

Jace Morrison - Indianapolis
(SO, PK, 5-11, 190, Dale, Ind./Heritage Hills)
  University of Indianapolis sophomore place kicker Jace Morrison helped the Greyhounds to a 34-3 win over Findlay on Saturday by connecting on two field goals and four PATs. His field goals covered 24 and 28 yards, respectively. Morrison has now made 15 of his last 15 PAT attempts.
