Offensive Player Of The Week
Richard Stokes - Mercyhurst
(JR, RB, 5-9, 192, Cincinnati, Ohio/Winton Woods)
  Junior RB Richard Stokes had a career-high 244 yards and scored three touchdowns as Mercyhurst beat Ferris State 42-23. The rushing total was the second-most in Mercyhurst history and just the third time any running back topped 200 in a game. Along with his rushing yards, Stokes had 26 yards receiving and 91 yards on three kick returns for 361 all-purpose yards. His 37 carries were the highest single-game total in school history as well.

Charlie Gleisner - Mercyhurst
(SO, LB, 6-0, 222, Wellington, Ohio/Black River)
  Laker sophomore linebacker Charlie Gleisner had eight tackles (four solo) and a sack in Mercyhurst’s 42-23 win at Ferris State. Gleisner led the Mercyhurst defense that limited Ferris State quarterback C.J. Van Wieren to just 20 yards rushing and posted three sacks. Gleisner also played offense in short yardage situation, catching the first pass of his career, a one-yard touchdown reception that was also the first touchdown of his career.

Matt Vanover - Hillsdale
(SR, P, 5-10, 195, Adrian, Mich./Adrian)
  In a game that featured a lot of offense, the punting of senior Matt Vanover helped keep the field position advantage in Hillsdale’s favor through most of its 42-41 win over Northern Michigan. Vanover punted the ball four times for a total of 202 yards, an average of more than 50 yards per punt. Vanover had a long punt of 61 yards in the game.
