Jason Jamerson - Grand Valley State

Jason Jamerson averaged 22.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals as #2 Grand Valley State set league history with a pair of wins. Jamerson hit 15-of-30 from the floor (.500), 5-of-11 from three-point land (.455) and 10-of-11 from the charity stripe (.900) on the week. Jamerson, the all-time leader in 3-pointers made (281) and the fourth all-time leading scorer in GVSU men’s basketball history (1,606), has led GVSU to a GLIAC single-season record 18 wins. His 29 points against FSU was the second highest total in his career.

Wynn Sarden - Wayne State (Sr, F, 6-4, Sterling Heights, Mich./Warren Cousino)
Wayne State senior forward Wynn Sarden averaged 28 points and seven rebounds last week as the Warriors went 1-1 and ended their 11-game losing streak with a Saturday victory over Hillsdale. He shot 63 percent from the floor for the week. He took game-high scoring honors in both contests. Sarden scored a game-high 27 points in the win over the Chargers. He had 14 points in 18 minutes in the first half then added 13 points and four rebounds in the second half while playing all but the final nine seconds on the half.
