Jason Jamerson - Grand Valley State

Senior guard Jason Jamerson averaged 14.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals, 2.0 blocked shots, shot 71.4 percent from the field and 63.6 percent from three-point land as Grand Valley State claimed a pair of GLIAC home wins last week. He was a key component defensively as GVSU held two GLIAC opponents to 47.5 points and 34.2 percent shooting from the floor. Jamerson scored a game-high 19 points, pulled down four rebounds, tallied four steals and dished out three assists in the Lakers’ 74-41 win over Northern Michigan.

Kale Richardson - Ashland

Freshman center Kale Richardson led Ashland to a pair of GLIAC road wins last week, leading the Eagles in scoring and rebounding in both games. For the week, he averaged 20.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 61.5 percent (16-26) from the floor and 57.1 percent (4-7) from three-point range. Richardson was a perfect five-for-five at the free throw line. He tallied 21 points and eight rebounds in an 86-61 win at Northwood, then came back with a 20-point, seven-rebound performance in a 65-64 win at Saginaw Valley State.
