Junior Matthew Williams hit .600 for the Warriors last week as they posted a record of 6-0 and clinched a berth in the GLIAC Tournament. He scored 13 of Wayne State’s 80 runs (16.3%) and stole seven bases on the week, increasing his GLIAC-leading total to 27 swipes. Williams also put up up a slugging percentage of .800 to go along with an on-base percentage of .667. Williams, who is currently in the midst of a seven-game hitting streak, ranks first in the league in triples (4), fourth in walks (26), and fifth in runs (42).

Tom Molter - Hillsdale

Senior Tom Molter helped the Hillsdale Chargers post two wins last week. Against Ashland, Molter tossed a complete-game victory as he surrended just four hits and gave up only one earned run. Molter struck out four Eagles on the day as he earned his fourth victory of the season. For the week, Molter fanned 12 opposing batters and allowed only a total of five runs in his two appearances. On the year, he has stuck out 40 batters in 40.1 innings of work and currently ranks third in the league with four runners picked off.
