George Rohan - Findlay

Senior George Rohan had another big week for the Oilers in leading them to a 3-1 record in their four GLIAC games. Rohan hit .667 for the week with five runs, five runs-batted-in, two doubles and two homeruns. Rohan currently has seven homeruns on the season, one shy of tying the school record for most round trippers in a sinlge season. On the year, Rohan is batting .385 and leads the Oilers in hits (42), triples (3), homeruns (7), RBI’s (32), total bases (80), slugging percentage (.734) and stolen bases (8).

Pitcher Of The Week
Anthony Bass - Wayne State
(Jr, RHP, Trenton, Mich.)
Junior Anthony Bass earned his second GLIAC “Pitcher of the Week” award this season after recording his fifth straight victory in as many appearances Saturday at Findlay, posting his second complete game shutout this season. He allowed just three hits and one walk while striking out 11, his third double-digit strikeout total of the year. Bass took a perfect game into the fifth inning as the Warriors blanked the Oilers for the first time since 2001. He currently leads the GLIAC in opponents batting average (.200) and ranks third with a 2.36 ERA.
