GLIAC Schools are Shooting to Wipe Out Breast Cancer
BAY CITY, Mich.-- The Great Lakes
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) member schools are once
again teaming up with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's
(WBCA) "Play 4Kay" for our 4th Annual "GLIAC Pink Wave" events in
an effort to raise breast cancer awareness and funds to help Wipe
Out Breast Cancer.
GLIAC men's and women's basketball teams will wear pink shoe laces
and pink warm-up shirts throughout the month of February to help in
the breast cancer awareness campaign.
In addition, many GLIAC athletics departments will host special
breast cancer awareness events in conjunction with home GLIAC
basketball double headers throughout the month. A list of
these events is posted below. You can click on the event
to see a description, if one has been provided.
Be sure to get out and cheer for your favorite GLIAC basketball
teams as they show their collaborative spirit in the battle to Wipe
out Breast Cancer.
