Findlay Oilers Sponsoring Breast Cancer Awareness

Findlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay athletic department will be sponsoring Breast Cancer Awareness activities this weekend at their various sporting events. The men’s and women’s soccer teams along with the Oilers volleyball team will all be showing their support for the cause at their respective games.

The men’s soccer team will recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness on Thursday, October 21 in their game against Northwood University (4pm) by wearing pink sweatbands and sharing breast cancer information.

The women’ soccer team will recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness on Friday, October 22 in their game against Ferris State University (4pm) by wearing pink warm-up shirts and pink sweatbands, along with sharing information on breast cancer.

The volleyball team will celebrating Dig Pink on Friday, October 22 in their game against Ohio Dominican (7:30pm).

Promotions for the event are as follows:

- $2 off admission for anyone wearing pink
- 50/50 Raffle with proceeds going to the Side-Out Foundation
- Opportunities to win Pizza and Free T-shirts during a serving promotion between games 2-3
- Breast Cancer Awareness information available in the lobby along with breast cancer awareness temporary tattoos
