COLUMBUS, Ohio – In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ohio Dominican's men's and women's soccer teams and volleyball team raised $1,000 in donations for Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Lee Denim at their recent home events.

The volleyball team's efforts came during its "Dig for the Cure" match against Cedarville on Oct. 5, while the soccer teams raised their money last weekend during home matches against Tiffin (Oct. 15) and Findlay (Oct. 17).

Additionally, the football team had a successful effort collecting canned food and non-perishable items for the Mid Ohio Food Bank, Holy Family Soup Kitchen and Bishop Griffin Center at Saturday's game against Findlay.

All four teams also wore pink headbands or wristbands during their games to show their support.
