Hillsdale College Raises $2000 for WBCA Kay Yow Cancer Fund

HILLSDALE, Mich. - Through the efforts of Hillsdale College's women's basketball team and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, $2000 was raised for the WBCA Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

Hillsdale SAAC members organized "Pink Zone" t-shirt sales on campus and during the games on Thursday, February 18 and Saturday, February 20 against Northern Michigan University and Michigan Technological University, respectively. SAAC members also volunteered to bag groceries for donations at The Market House in Hillsdale on Friday, February 19.

During the basketball game on Saturday against Michigan Tech, a 3 pt shooting contest was held during halftime to raise funds. The women's basketball team also donated Hillsdale clothing that was raffled during the week.
