GLIAC Partners with 2D Consulting to Upgrade Conference Branding Initiatives
BAY CITY, Mich. - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has partnered with 2D Consulting to evaluate and upgrade conference branding initiatives. The research study will create an understanding of the capabilities each of the GLIAC’s 16 campuses have with regard to branding the conference and its current marks.
“The research study and the branding plan will help to promote the rich academic and athletic traditions of the GLIAC,” said GLIAC Commissioner Dell Robinson. “The report will provide a road map as to how the GLIAC and our stakeholders can strengthen the brand, and promote our new tagline, “Where Champions Compete”—Academics, Athletics, Achievement.”
2D will develop a branding plan to be followed by the conference office and the member institutions through the 2016-17 academic year, with the goal of increasing the conference’s visibility and push the NCAA Division II strategic platform.
“2D is thrilled to partner with such a strong conference, with passionate stakeholders,” said Trip Durham, CEO of 2D Consulting. “What I have learned through this project is that the GLIAC has some wonderful assets. The GLIAC brand will continue to grow and their presence will continue to be felt throughout the country.”
