This area will also be used by the baseball and softball teams with batting cages and giving them the ability to do off-season long tossing.

In addition, the football squad will have 75 yards of indoor space for use during winter conditioning with the golf student-athletes having the ability to hit “long drives.”

The facility also consists of six new offices for Warrior coaches, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a training room as well as a baseball locker room.

The Athletic Multipurpose Indoor Facility is completely air conditioned, and will be used by all 15 Wayne State varsity athletic programs.
