second on the team in digs, and third in blocks. Her outstanding
play during the 2007-08 season earned her Honorable Mention

In the classroom, Jamie earned a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.942 (4.0 scale) while double-majoring in computer science and computer networking. The software she developed automatically generates multiple-choice spelling tests, filling one of the teachers' greatest needs.
Dougherty emerged onto the scene as a senior wide receiver after much hard work and dedication. He worked his way into the Cardinal starting line-up in his final year and did not disappoint. In nine games for the Saginaw Valley State squad, he grabbed 46 passes while finishing fourth in the conference in receptions per game. His performance on the field earned him Honorable Mention All-GLIAC accolades for the 2007 season.
Dougherty was on top of his game in the classroom as well. He graduated in May of 2008 with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Spanish with a minor in biology. He compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.738 (4.0 scale) during his studies at the university.
